About the MBBS / MD Program
The 5 or 6-year undergraduate medical program is designed to provide a thorough foundation in medical sciences along with hands-on clinical experience. In the early years, students study core subjects such as anatomy (the structure of the human body), physiology (how the body functions), biochemistry, and pathology (diseases and their causes). As the program progresses, students engage in pharmacology (medications and their effects) and microbiology (microorganisms and infections).
Clinical Training
From the middle years onward, the focus shifts more toward clinical disciplines, where students learn to diagnose and treat patients under supervision. This includes rotations through departments like internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency medicine. During these clinical rotations, students gain practical skills in patient examination, medical procedures, and decision-making.

Internships and Practical Training

After Graduation
Graduates of this program are prepared to either start practicing medicine as general physicians or continue their education by specializing in a particular medical field through postgraduate studies.
